In Contact Form 7, I am trying to change the border color of an input field if there is an error. For example, if a field is required and it is left blank, I don’t want a separate text box to appear, I would just like to highlight the incorrect field in red. There doesn’t seem to be a separate class name attached to fields that have errors, so I’m not sure if this is possible.

    Please let me know.

    thanks

This morning I downloaded the wpcf7 plugin to my website
https://www.younity.eprofits.com . As soon as I enabled it there appeared this message:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function wpcf7_add_tag_generator() in /home/younity/public_html/wp-content/plugins/minimum-length-for-contact-form-7/wpcf7_min_text.php on line 176

I’ve searched forums on the subject and there was no resolved reply that I could use.I tried downloading one suggestion, but when I tried to log on to my admin page all that came up was the above message on a white screen.

Everything I clicked on brought up the same screen,eg;dashboard,
posts, theme options, etc.I can no longer access the control panel to even try any suggestions.

I tried logging out and back in again only to experience the same results.Actually,my log in page landed me on the same page as the others,Fatal Error.

I tried contacting the creator of the plugin only to get put on a page with experts who said they could fix this for a small fee.Has anyone had this problem where they couldn’t even access their control panel?

How do I get in to change or add codes if I can’t get to the editor?Did I crash my website by installing this plugin? Has any of the form7 issues ever been solved?

    Confused,
