After researching some of the known issues with Contact Form 7, I’m finding that it works perfectly for me, except for a stylesheet error on a WordPress site I’m currently building.

I’ve noticed with Contact Form 7’s checkbox / label first functionality is getting broken in combination with the theme being used. I would like the checkboxes to line up horizontally, three on a line like in most of the example Contact 7 pages. Unfortunately, my theme is not allowing me to do this. Does anyone have a stylesheet inclusion that could help me out?

Also, I would like to have multiple text areas for fields on the same horizontal like. Much like this: https://hudsonmusicfest.com/musician-signup.htm

Can someone help me decipher how I would go about this?

Here is the site I’m working on currently, you’ll see at the top what my checkbox error looks like: https://www.northshorehomegrown.com/music-sign-up-2/

    Thanks for your help!

So, how did you set up the checkboxes exactly?

    Standard fare:

[checkbox checkbox-921 label_first “one” “two” “three” “four” “five”]

I’ve tried using the label_first and use_label_element commands, but to no avail. I’m banking that there is a style sheet error somewhere along the way. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

    Best,
    Devon

It’s not a stylesheet issue. Looking into the HTML source, I found <br /> tags inserted after each label which shouldn’t be there. Maybe one of your plugins or theme does it. Try deactivating all other plugins and switching to the default theme for testing.
