    I checked the documentation and I didn’t see anything about confirmation messages upon hitting send. I would assume it is automated, but it isn’t coming up for me.

    You are using too old versions of WordPress and plugins. Upgrade them to the latest versions first. Also, the theme seems to be incorrect. Fix it or switch it to other theme.

    Well, the problem with that is the site can’t be updated, because when it is, it crashes and I can’t get it up and running without rolling it back via the hosting provider. It’s a complete mess, I know, but the person who built it just told me “Don’t fix what isn’t broken.” Only now something finally is broken…
