[Plugin: Contact Form 7] CONTACT FRORM 7 DOES NOT WORK

  • This plugin is no longer working for pretty much anyone on the latest version of wordpress.

    I have used this plugin for a year – and YES – donate to every plugin I use , each time I download them, so I have paid into this plugin.

    I have a website due immediately, and this issue is holding it up.

    Anyone know if he plans on updating this, or should I go ahead and remove it and start using another plugin?

    I know it is not working for me any longer..

    I recieve all reply emails as:

    [email protected]

    And cannot for the life of me figure out why..

    Same here; since the latest updates nothing arrives; not to me (the webmaster) nor to the sender – using the mail(2) fields. Not to gmail or yahoo, not to ‘normal’ domains. This worked before no problem, what happened? Ah, an nothing in my error logs?

    I found that for me, WP Contact Form 8 works well as a replacement even in the latest version of WP (2.9.1 as of now) and also preserves all your forms etc from Contact Form 7.

    Actually I just changed it over from Contact Form 7 to 8 on several sites and on some it works, on others it doesn’t… nothing in the error log, tried disabling plugins but no different. If anyone finds out why please post up here.

    WP Contact Form 8 hands me a critical error when I try to activate it, and besides, I wanted CF7 to work.

    However, on the CF8 site, I found the article check-your-site-before-reporting-trouble-please in which Greg Carley writes about the “Configure SMTP plugin“.

    That completely solved all sending issues for me, maybe something for you?
