Exactly. It says it is going through but it does not. I don’t receive anything either. I have my email address in the “TO” section in the Mail section. Is there another place I have to place my email address to get it to send to me? And shouldn’t it be sending to the person as well? Please help.

I see this as your answer on the faq:

Showing the green border message means that the PHP function for sending the mail has certainly completed successfully. So if you can’t receive the mail, it’s highly possible that the mail has been kidnapped or killed after that.

If you can check the log of your mail server, it could give you some clues. Spam filter often causes this kind of problem.

Where do I check this log of my mail server? I have already checked my spam and nothing is there so it is not that. Please help.

What is the domain of your site? Or you are just testing it using dedicated IP only?

I’m having the same issue. I tried rolling back to the previous version of the plugin but none of my forms worked then. Hoping for a solution soon.

@biswajeet I have to use the ip for now because we have a splash page on the actual domain name so the only way to access the wp side is by using the ip address. Does this have anything to do with the issue? My problem is that I need to integrate mail chimp in with my form and I haven’t found another form that does it yet. I have to keep looking. I need to fix this asap.

@weschilders I hear you. This is so frustrating.

Yes this might cause issue under shared hosting environment in such scenario. Configure your domain in wp properly and finally check it out…

@biswajeet I just checked my general settings in wordpress and my ip is already listed in place of the domain name. Is that what you were saying to configure?

I’m having the same issue. Anyone has some advice?

Some hosting environments require the “From” address to match the website domain. In Contact Form 7, in the “Mail” section, try changing “From: [your-name] <[your-email]>” to “From: [email protected]”.

I change it and IT’S WORKING!!!
    Wonderful!!!
    Thank you mikedev!!!
