[Plugin: Contact Form 7] Email submission successful but no mail received

    Hi,

    I am using wordpress version 2.9.2 and Version 2.1.2 of contact form 7. As stated in the topic title, email submission is successful but no mail received.

    Previously, I was using wordpress version 2.7.1 and Version 2.0.7 of contact form 7 and it works. After upgrading my wordpress and contact form 7, it does not work.

    So i tried using the old Version 2.0.7 of contact form 7 and it also does not work.

    Did something went wrong when i upgrade my wordpress version? Advices appreciated. Thanks!

    Who are your hosts? There are known issues with Godaddy hosting.

    Yes Godaddy is my host.

    Known issues? I have never read anything on the support page or the documentation about known issues with Godaddy hosting?

    From what I have seen, there are issues with the way in which GoDaddy is now handling mail on some servers.

    Ok thanks, I am considering trying omg88 recommendation of installing the WP Mail SMPT plugin. Do you think it is worth it to try that or just re-do everything using WuFoo forms? they seem much more reliable.

    Since WuFoo are a 3rd party site, they should not be affected by the mail changes and you should be able to just embed the form into your pages. Came across this tutorial on using WooFu with WordPress that you might find useful.
