[Plugin : Contact Form 7] error sending message (red line)

  • Hello,

    I m a beginner webmaster and I’m discovering WordPress. Well, someone gives me the task to make a website for psychotherap by using wordpress.

    There already was Contact Form 7 installed.

    I copied the files and the DB on my computer, to have a local installation.

    When I try to make a test inscription, in order to simulate a fictional subscriber, I have a message :

    “Error while the sending of your message”

    (That’s not the exact words, i translate it from the French).

    With a redborder. And of course, my formulary is not sent.

    In the FaQ, they talk about a server problem. But this is my server. I’m using a recent Wamp installation, with Apache and MySql.

    Someone has an idea please ? ??

    You need mail server plus them to send mails.

    I don’t find “Mail Server Plus Them” ?

    – But i find other plugins seeming similar. Thank you anyway, i will try it now and tell you if I match to do it. ??

    No, I mean a mail server. Not a WordPress plugin.

    Usually, you don’t have a mail server on your local PC.
