Hi guys, thanks for helping.

Since I’ve installed Contact Form 7 on my site, every day I get at least 10-15 fake contact submissions that look like this:

From: <[email protected]>

Message Body:
vjg5r1 owuhfxmeakqv, [url=https://eerunnxaqgfo.com/]eerunnxaqgfo[/url], [link=https://tugvdkfaytfk.com/]tugvdkfaytfk[/link], https://yzpnuwspkjvq.com/

I usually get 4/6 of them one after another and then nothing for few hours. Any idea what can cause this?

It’s just a spammer.

I don’t think it’s a spammer. The messages are always structured the same way and I get them on regular intervals…every day.
I also thought that at the beginning but after one month I would assume a spammer would give up! I just got another two:

Those are obviously spam bots. Protect your site with CAPTCHA or Akismet.

Thanks Takayuki: I disabled Akismet since after installing Disqus it was taking care of spammers. Will re-enable it.

No…didn’t fix the issue: even after having enabled Akismet, I’m getting the same thing:
