[Plugin: Contact Form 7] Form sticks on submit (Progress Arrows just Rotate)

  • I just installed Contact Form 7 on a new site. After installing I configured and tested and noticed nothing happened beyond the progress animation (the spinning recycling symbol). I tested 5 more times and nothing happened. I tried deleting the plugin and reinstalling and tested with the default setting and nothing happened. It just cycles there. It should error since I entered no value.

    Thinking it might be an error on the server side I installed in another site and it worked fine.

    I appreciate any feedback. I am a fan of this plugin. Thank you.

    I am just now noticing the theme I purchased for this site has a built in mail plugin. Is there any way that this would effect contact form 7?

    I am having the same problem, however the form was working fine prior to updating to the latest version of Contact Form 7. I have used this form for roughly 2 years now with no faults prior. My theme has not changed, and my plugins have not changed, however I have been keeping up with the latest wordpress patches.
