• I hope someone who really knows this tool can assist. I really like the Contact Form tool, but encountered an issue with the email setup.

When Mail-2 is utilized to send an email back to the user who submitted the request, the resulting email is causing some confusion. When that email is received by the user, he sees the alias (WordPress) in the FROM field instead of the one I entered into the field when setting up. When the user mouses over that alias, the actual email address that I placed in the FROM field is displayed. How can I simply show the actual address without the alias?

Can anyone help here? I really need to eliminate the alias (“WordPress”) from the message header once it is transmitted.

    Same problem here, very annoying!

    Hello,
this solution might help a bit as it enables you to change the alias to whatever value you like:
    You just add
    Alias <[email protected]>
to the From field. Instead of Alias, you choose the alias name you want, instead of [email protected] you add your desired email.
Still better than the email coming from WordPress ??

Another thing, use the first mail to send an email back to the person who submitted the request and use Mail-2 to send to yourself. You will get ‘WordPress’ as alias but what’s te matter, it’s only you?

I had that issue, then resolved it with the “<email>” thing. Now, the issue is that while mail-1 is sent immediately, sometimes mail-2 takes very long to send. I tested it out last night only received the email this morning!

    Any thoughts?
