[Plugin: Contact Form 7] Mail shows “WordPress” as its sender name. How to change?

  • Just put any name on the FROM field, followed by <[email protected]>

    i.e.

    FirstName LastName <[email protected]>

    or

    [COMPANY] Notifications <[email protected]>

    That’s it.

    Is there any way to get the sender’s actual name in the From field like normal? I have [first_name] and [last_name] in the form and added it to the From field but it didn’t work, still sends as “WordPress” instead of the 2 fields I specified. I checked the site FAQ page, but only saw the same answer above.

    Help?

    It’s possible that one of other plugins or theme is overwriting the From field. Deactivating all other plugins and switching to the default theme might resolve it.
