[Plugin: Contact Form 7] mail to set-up

  • I set-up a contact form for my friend on her wp site. I set it up the contact form to go to my friend’s email. However, I’m getting the emails when they’re filled out! Do I get them automatically since I’m the admin? I can’t find anywhere in the code that says for the emails to go to me so I’m baffled. Any help much appreciated – thanks!

    I’m having the same problem. The form appears to be set up correctly – the email address in the Mail To field is the correct email, but when the form is submitted it goes to the person who set up the form instead. That email address isn’t listed anywhere in the form setup, so I’m not sure how or why this is happening. I looked at https://contactform7.com/2009/12/04/setting-up-mail/ but I believe we’ve followed those instructions and we’re still having these problems.

    This is a big problem as the person receiving the emails is no longer with our company. Please help!

    Do a text search in your ?? www/html/ ?? folder for that email address

    You will then find it set somewhere not in the form
