[Plugin: Contact Form 7] Problem with a lot of plugins in the 2.0.7 version

  • Contact Form 2.07
    It does not work if there is “too much” plugins activated. I made several tests desactivating one by one my plugins. When it works, I did reactivate one by one the plugins but the problem occurs not with the same plugins activated or desactivated. The Contact Form 2.0 works without problem with ALL plugins activated. So I think it’s something in the last version (I did not test ALL versions of CF after 2.0 :-))

  • I use also version 2.07 and have noticed a lot of warnings when I activate Contact Form :

    I have 10 plugins activated :

    Regenerate Thumbnails
    Scissors
    Social Profiles
    Spam Karma
    Thesis OpenHook

    WPML Multilingual CMS
    WPtouch iPhone Theme

    Maybe you’ve failed to install one of the plugins.

    I don’t think so since it only happens when I activate Contact Form 7. No problem with the other plugins

    Well, CF7 2.0 does not work too with all my plugins activated. For the moment, I go on another contact plugin. It’s very strange because I had no problem a week ago. A compatibility problem with WP 2.8.6 ?

    I am also having some strange happenings regarding the Contact form 7 and I am bummed because it is my favorite form plugin. I have many forms on my site. Strangely some will work. There seems to be some correlation/conflict between having a form in a post and the category archive. Here is what happens.

    Sometimes when I add a new post that has a form in it, it seems to combine with other posts and headings. So if I am supposed to have 6 posts in category A, in the admin area everything appears fine but on the front end it displays Title of article 6 with content and form of article 5. If you click on the title it goes to the permalink for what the title is but sometimes will not show any content or form. WHen I remove the shortcode for the form, everything works fine (except that I nee another form displayed and cannot isert it)

    Anyone have any ideas? I have tried deleteing and recreating bothe the srticle post and the forms and all combinations of such that I could think of. I even changed all the short code within the form being sure that I did not re-use ANY tags from other forms.

    Someone please help.
