[Plugin: Contact Form 7] Sorry it's another 'styling contact form 7' thread – how to
-
Hi excuse this novice’s question – I’ve had a a good look through the forums and taken a squint at the stylesheets and I am still not sure (before I wade in) whether there would be an easier way to do what I would like to do – which is to simply use all the normal system styles for the input text area boxes (background, border, font, paragraph, submit/ send button – )
My theme has a very specific style which is used in the search input, comments text area etc so its a bit surprising to come to a form with a white background.
– is there a way to a) just allow the normal system css to override the form css (hopefully!) or otherwise b) easily change the classes of the form to the same as the usual form input. been staring in vain at the php files (am now very clever with php anyway) to try and figure it out but am now stuck – can’t even fiure out which file to edit!Would you say that the best method is to copy & paste the wpcf7 css style into the theme’s custom css file and then modify it (then maybe delete the original?)
