[Plugin: Contact Form 7] wpcf7-response-output wpcf7 – W3 validation error

  • Error Line 253, Column 77: end tag for element “p” which is not open

    <div class=”wpcf7-response-output wpcf7-display-none”></div></form></div></p>

    Can anyone point me to where this bit of code is above apparently i have a missing <p> tag or havent closed the </p> tag, contact form is working but I get a validation error on W3 validator (see code above)

    Sorry omitted to say my site is https://www.iecconnectsolar.co.uk
    wpcf7-response-output wpcf7 and I have 2 contact form pages one on the front page and one on a contact page, this error has only recently shown up on W3 validator.

    Personally Would not waste my time. If it not affecting display or function then what is the point? And then when the new version comes out either it will be fixed or you have to go through the files yourself.
    Bu if you really need to find it, look through every php file for wpcf7-response-output wpcf7. If not in the php files then starft on the others. That is all anyone else will do.

    Thought it might come to that. It’s my first site and I was kind of proud that it was 100% validated, strange thing is its only just come up as an error. Didnt really want to tamper with the plugins code, wasn’t sure if it was a validator error as it has not appeared before.
