[Plugin: Contextual Related Posts] Some modifications

  • Hello,
    First of all this is an awesome Plugin! Now, I am looking for some guidance on a few things that I need this plugin to do.

    1-I need to display the Author and Date of the post

    2-I want to put in a search box that will search/filter ONLY the related posts

    3-I want a link to show all related posts

    4-I wanted something that says, Displaying X of XXX Posts

    Can you assist?

    Unfortunately, there is no easy way to establish all the points above without major hacking of the plugin.

    Can you explain what the second point is?

    dadvan, am not sure I’ll be implementing a feature like this. The way the related posts work, as you start going down the list the relevancy drops and you start getting even lesser related posts.

    Searching through them could result in not so relevant results.
