[Plugin: Cool Video Gallery] Plugin Fails when Delete or Upload Preview Image is used

    Hi Praveen,
    I am finding that when I attempt to use ‘Delete’ or ‘Upload Preview Image’ from the Manage Gallery section I consistently have a blank transparent overlay shown and nothing further happens.

    I really like the look of your plugin and would like to use it but without particularly the delete feature operational it is impractical for me to use it.

    I am using version 1.6 with a simple gallery of two videos. My server does not have FFMPEG installed on it, if that is relevant. Apologies if this post is innappropriate here. I did search for other posts regarding this issue and found a number of posts in the plugin & hacks category from people asking for help but none carrying any solutions or answers, so figured maybe the support area was the right place to raise this.

    Laura, so frustrating, I know. But before you give up, try using someone else’s computer. I know it’s a long shot, but it could be something to do with your system creating the conflict. I can’t think of another reason if you’re using a generic theme and turning off all plugins except Cool Vid Gallery. So try all of that on a different system and see if it works.

    As a last resort you can do one last thing (I was doing this before I discovered the theme switching theme that worked for me). If you want to edit a gallery, don’t. Create a new gallery the way you want it and use that one instead. You’ll be getting more and more galleries in your list of galleries, but who cares, as long as the end user is seeing what you want them to see it doesn’t matter. Not an elegant solution, but it in the end it’ll give you what you’re needing.

    I will not be able to check the issue you are mentioning with the site URL provided as its an admin panel issue.

    Did you try using WP 3.5 default theme with just this plugin enabled?

    As part of 1.7 update, all most all the styles and javascripts in admin panel are loaded from WP installation and not bundled with the plugin.
