[Plugin: Cool Video Gallery] Server Requirements

Hi- I have installed the plugin on my wordpress blog. The thumbnail shows up but when clicked the video play window does not load the video. Is FFMPEG required on my server in order for the plugin to function? Please advise! Thank you!
