[Plugin: Cool Video Gallery] WordPress 3.3.1 breaks Video Gallery thumbs

    Are there any plans for an update in the near future? I just upgraded to the current WP version, and I can no longer create thumbnails. I add a new video, go in to Gallery Details, and when I click on Upload Preview Image, the screen goes grey, and it just sits there and does nothing. While the video will play just fine, something is now broken with adding the preview. All I get is the default film reel image. I can go back to the previous screen, but I just can’t create a thumbnail – I’ve even tried putting the thumbnail in the /thumbs folder – nothing. Thanks.

  • yes, same thing happening to me. this could be a VERY popular plug-in….if you can fix this small issue.

    i have tried a TON of video options. ( paid & free; vimeo, cincopa, tubepress, display buddy, etc. )

    this one ( CVG ) could be the BEST if some of the small bugs were fixed, and it was more intuitive to use.

    as of today, i can’t manually upload thumbnails and i can’t delete video from a gallery.

    any pointers on how to deal with these issues?

    I am running latest wordpress 3.3.1

    fyi….I just installed ‘ultimate tiny mce’. it helped ALOT.

    I also love this plugin but ever since updating to 3.3.1 my thumbnails no longer show in the widget slideshow and my showcase no longer pops up the JW Player when code is on a page… Everything works fine in Gallery Management but that’s it.

    I’m having a similar problem in the Gallery Management. I am unable to delete a video. Program just kinda suspends. WP does not lock up by cool video does not delete the entry. HELP!!! Thanks.
