    Hi there

    Hope you can help me. I am getting this error when activating NextGen Gallery plugin:

    Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.

    Exception thrown

    C_Taxonomy_Controller does not implement as required by I_MVC_Controller. C_Taxonomy_Controller does not implement as required by I_MVC_Controller. C_Taxonomy_Controller does not implement as required by I_MVC_Controller. C_Taxonomy_Controller does not implement as required by I_MVC_Controller. C_Taxonomy_Controller does not implement as required by I_Taxonomy_Controller. C_Taxonomy_Controller does not implement as required by I_Taxonomy_Controller. C_Taxonomy_Controller does not implement as required by I_Taxonomy_Controller. C_Taxonomy_Controller does not implement as required by I_Taxonomy_Controller. C_Taxonomy_Controller does not implement as required by I_Taxonomy_Controller. C_Taxonomy_Controller does not implement as required by I_Taxonomy_Controller.     Please help!

    @ditenchi & @skuglin – Have you tried re-installing (manually via FTP and over-writing the existing installation) to see if that sorts out this issue?

    Thanks for the quick response Cais!
    Will I lose all photos in the galleries? Is there a way to back up or save these? Or will they be ok if I just overwrite existing?

    If you just do a manual re-install by over-writing the plugin files you will have no risk to your existing galleries.
