    Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_FUNCTION in …../wp-content/plugins/post-via-dropbox/pvd.php on line 24

    On a Hostgator server using
    Apache version 2.2.26
    PHP version 5.4.29
    MySQL version 5.5.37-35.1

    Thus PHP should be good enough – but no luck. Have tried deactivating other plugins, changed themes even – no luck.

    I tried installation on a second server – same problem. Am I doing something really stupid or is the plugin only running in certain setups?

    ok, tried to force 5.3 interpretation of .php -> solved the problem
