    Hi,

Just tried updating my website to the latest version of Business Directory Plugin v5 and my website crashed, but just WP back-end not the website front-end.

I removed the plugin files manually and I was able to used WP back-end once again.

I then tried to add the Business Directory Plugin fresh from the repository, but received the following:

‘Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.’

Any ideas what is causing this?

    Many thanks.

    Hi @shelledesigns,

Sorry that you ran into issues here!

Off hand, I don’t know what the error might have been–a few people are reporting issues if they have PHP versions that are earlier than 5.6, which is the latest supported version for both BD and WordPress.

Do you know what version you have right now? You can check under Directory Admin->Debug if you have 4.x installed.

    Please let me know.
