We cannot enable the plugin (which was enabled), as we get this error,

Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.

Fatal error: Namespace declaration statement has to be the very first statement or after any declare call in the script in /var/www/html/site/wp-content/plugins/wpforms-lite/src/Tasks/Tasks.php on line 3

I’ve disabled all plugins, reverted to Twenty Seventeen and reinstalled latest version of WP.

I’ve tried deleting the plugin, but that fails with 500 Internal Server Error,

Any ideas on how to progress?
