I’m experiencing the same issue as @2brx2b.

I can install the plugin sucessfully, but I get a “fatal error” when I try to activate it.

I believe I have tracked down the source of this issue and fixed in v1.3.3.

If you could try reinstalling and then activating, I’d appreciate it.

Thanks for your quick response and fixing the issue in this new version. It is working now! ??

Note: After activating this new version, I got the following error: Could Not Activate Plugin. Your site uses a physical robots.txt file. This plugin can only be activated when using the built-in virtual robots.txt provided by WordPress. To Activate Move the robots.txt file outside of your root directory or rename it to something like robots.txt.bak. Once that is done, please try reactivating the plugin. I followed the instructions and was able to activate the plugin correctly afterwards.

I haven’t verified it, but I also had a normal robots.txt file, so that was probably the cause! Thank you!

Yes, unfortunately it only works with the virtual robots.txt at present. I logged an issue to look into making it so that the plugin will prompt one to manually add the values to the file rather than just erroring out.
