Plugin crashed website on launch

I had configured that our website should go live automatically on a fixed time. However, the plugin somehow failed to remove the countdown page and the whole website basically crashed. Deactivating Launchpad didn’t work, disabling the plugin also didn’t work. I had to remove the plugin, which took a lot of tries since the website was unreachable most of the time. Then install it again, and only then it was fixed. Honestly a terrible experience with this one.
