You can also try using the Tag Editor, since there will be no extra parsing of the {php} into a span tag and you’ll be able to see in green where the code is.

Unfortunately I can’t fix it, reinstall and playing around with the configurations didn’t work either: it makes no difference whether I use the Tag Editor or not. The backend seems to work correctly. When I use the Tag Editor the inline code snippet is green exactly where expected. But when previewing the code in the frontend the above error accurs.

Ah, then it’s a bug. I works on the latest build however, try this:

I had the same problem and wanted to try the version attached to the latest post. But this seems to be an older version. It appears as Version 1.7 and the contained files are older than those contained in the latest version.

I’m moving away from making zips from svn so silly naming issues don’t occur and the code is better maintained.

I can confirm inline code seems to work. Both from the tag window thingy and when inserted with mini tags.
