[Plugin: Creative Commons Media Tagger] Displaying license in image caption

The Description says: “It can display a text link to the license, an image link to the license, or both.”
Is that only on the attachment page? Or should it also be possible to display the license information on posts and pages that use CC-licensed images?
If yes to the latter, I cannot get it to work.
If no, what would be the best way to go about displaying licenses with images?
