• Hello

I am using “á, é, ó” etc for the titles but then the title and the slug are breaken just at that letter.

The csv is in ANSI and I have converted it to UTF-8 so I can try to modify the registers. The problem is that after uploading the new csv, when I try to import it says that there are no modification.

I could create another project but I have already defined 50 custom fields and I would prefer to dont do it again.

    Any suggestion?

    Thanks a lot

  • Great idea!

I run in the same problem with german “Umlaute” (?,?,ü,?).

But now I converted my .csv file to UTF-8 and import it to a new table.

    And now it works!

    Hi Antrorome.

Sorry for such a delay but I assure you I have been working on the plugin. In the area of character encoding, I’ve made a small start by creating an Encoding Settings panel on the main page. I wanted to check on your progress, hoping you did manage to continue.

Next step is to allowing all values to be put through the php utf8_encode() function. I’m about to do this now and wanted to let you know straight away so you know to look out for the next version. I will set this to resolved while I’m here.

    Thanks once again Kai.
