    Hi Thomas,

I have changed the step 5 installation (Documentation error). So any file name should work now.

Please try these two sample files :

    [pearl_csv_to_webpage_display filename=59.csv]
    [pearl_csv_to_webpage_display filename=score.csv]

Regarding automatic installation it is working automatically for me.Could you check again please?

    Kind Regards

    Hi Pearl,

thanks for your fast response !!!

The notation as mentioned above (without spaces around the ‘=’) works fine with any number of tables on a WordPress page…

After a deinstallation the automatic installation worked as expected – don’t know what it was the first time…

Could you please check the alternating background color on the (n+1). table on the page ?

    Thanks for your support
    and best regards

    Hi Thomas,

    You are welcome..
Glad to hear that it is working for you. I am passionate about plugin development and hence any new ideas are welcome.

Sorry, I didnt get your query about alternating background colour properly.

When I checked the alternating background colour feature is working across all tables in a page and the colours can be set from the backend.

I have updated the donate link .. ??

    Hi Pearl,

    please have a look at https://df7hi.de/Pearlbells/csv1.jpg and https://df7hi.de/Pearlbells/csv2.jpg :

The first screenshot shows two identical tables one below thge other; the second table seems to use neither Bg color nor Alt Bg color.

The second screenshot shows the situation after hovering the third line of the second table; the Mousehover Color keeps activated even after mouse movements.

Behaviour is reproducable with Firefox 5.0 and MS IE 8.0; WordPress version is 3.2.1…

    Best regards

    Hi Liz,

    that works fine !!!

BTW: Is it intended that the line counting is not reset for each table
(a table header has the alternate color of the last line of the preceeding table) ?

Would it be much work to make the CSV delimiter configurable (‘;’ or ‘,’) ?

    Hi Thomas,

Glad to know it worked for you.

At present the alternate colour rule works as you have understood and it is not reset for each table. I could think about it in next version as it would involve lot of work.

The CSV delimiter is set as ‘,’ at present as the name is CSV ( comma seperated value ). However if you want it set as ‘;’ I could customise it for you by making some amendments in the code for you.

    Hi Pearl,

the alternating line color is not so important,
don’t spend too much time for it…

And the problem of the ‘;’ character can be solved here
on 4NT batch file level (as Excel 2007 insists on ‘;’
    during CSV export).

So thanks for all your assistance !!!

    Best regards

    Thomas

I uploaded the plugin through wordpress plugin and activated it. I’m just trying to show the default csv file that comes with the plugin and am getting an error. Here’s the page call I used: [pearl_csv_to_webpage_display filename=59.csv]

    Here’s the page preview error:
Warning: fopen() [function.fopen]: URL file-access is disabled in the server configuration in /data/10/1/90/100/1090915/user/1137616/htdocs/wp/wp-content/plugins/csv-to-webpage-plugin/pearl_csv_to_webpage.php on line 110

Warning: fopen(https://bryantracing.com/wp/wp-content/plugins/csv-to-webpage-plugin/upload/59.csv) [function.fopen]: failed to open stream: no suitable wrapper could be found in /data/10/1/90/100/1090915/user/1137616/htdocs/wp/wp-content/plugins/csv-to-webpage-plugin/pearl_csv_to_webpage.php on line 110

    What did I do wrong?
