[Plugin: Custom Field Taxonomies] Adding Count To Display

Is there a way to show the number of posts that have a particular custom field meta_value? For instance, I’m using this call <?php meta_cloud(array(‘key’=>’city_field’)); ?>, and I would like the value displayed in my widget to be Denver (2).
