• First of all, I totally agree that this plugin ROCKS!!

I’m using it as a CMS form to manage product descriptions, titles, photos, and the like. My problem is that I’d like to be able to fill out more than one template at a time without having to publish/update post between using the custom field templates. Currently, if I fill out a custom field template and then switch to another template from the dropdown to fill out other fields, it loses the information I entered into the previous one.

I know I can put everything I need onto one template, but it would be REALLY, REALLY LONG and my users would get upset.

    Here’s my question:

Can I somehow disable/modify the AJAX load when selecting a template from the dropdown on a post? I’d like to instead have all of the boxes and content loaded, and then maybe have simple jQuery show/hide it. That way it wouldn’t lose the information I’ve already entered in but haven’t saved.

Am I missing something really simple? I’ll be throwing you a donation for the plugin NO MATTER WHAT ー ありがとう!!

  • I added the save button and the auto save option. If you check Use the auto save in switching templates in the setting page of the custom field template, the values are automatically saved when you switch templates. I hope this will work for you. Thanks.
