[Plugin: Custom Field Template] Required / Mandatory fields?

Hi. Is it possible to define Required / Mandatory fields with this plugin.
i.e: if the field is not filled. Display an error and don’t publish the post. Or is there a way to do this with another plugin?

Looks like it may be possible with the “active-extra-fields” plugin.
I’ll be testing it today.
