[Plugin: Custom Field Template] Store calculated value in hidden field

    I am very pleased with Custom Field Template plugin. I want to achieve a thing though which I dont know if its possible.

    I want to calculate a value based on what the user puts in a custom field. Then I want to save both the user input value and the new calculated value in two different fields. (the calculated value should be hidden from the user).

    I’ve worked out how to calculate the value with editCode but I want the original value to be the value still displayed in wp-admin.

    Any tips?

  • I would create a text field and add a css class to it to hide it – thus you have a “hidden field”.

    I am trying to calculate the number of checkboxes that were checked and store that in a custom field. Did you get your issue to work, and if so, any tips on your process?
