[Plugin: Custom Field Template] Using Shortcode in Post Excerpts??

No Help ??

I have the templates setup up and am using [cft format=0] to pull that format into my post.

But I want to be able to use [cft format=1] in the excerpt of the post.
But when I do that all that shows up is the shortcode “[cft format=0]” instead of the code its supposed to be swapped out with.

Can this plugin load formats into the excerpt?

Any help is much appreciated.

As the default WordPress core does not allow you to use shortcodes in excerpts, but in the latest version 1.3.3 I added the option which made it possible to do that in the setting page of the custom field template. There seems to be still something to improve this functionality, but please try it out. Thanks.
