• Hello,

This plug-in is the Cfrom of the custom post (barely ?? ). There is a bug reporting interface for this plug-in ?

There is a problem when using accented letter in “label”. They did not appear correctly on the post form. If you encode entities, it work well t’ll you save/change datas from the Custom Field Template configuration’s interface. The display of the “label=…” is truncated by the real accentuated letter, not the encoded entities. And after a modification “save”, the problem is back.

When I’m looking in wp_options>custom_field_template_data I see the converted entities are well registered.

In fact this problem is coming from the conf interface database’s read. It display decode entities and after save datas, it save decode entities in DB.

    Any upgrade, fix ?

    Thanks,
    mike

I am sorry for my late reply. I tried saving the accentuated letter and it seemed the letter was saved correctly. I am not sure why it happens but your database encoding might be a problem….

    Hi,

It’s in UTF-8 and all work perfect (WP is set as fr_FR).
I finally use Magic-fields plug-in, who work perfect, without encoding problem.

As I explain before, the data are well registered in the database with your plug-in (encoding well in raw field data). It’s just a back-office display problem. Do you use a specific function or WP base function for display data in the post interface ?

    Cheers,
    mike
