Yes, you can use a shortcode to insert a content block in a page or post:

You can either click on the ‘Add Content Block’ icon above the WYSIWYG editor or insert the required shortcode in html view: [content_block id= ] (you will have to look up the content block ID).

Hi, nice to know that I can use a shortcode. Next question: How to find this content block ID? It’s not visible to me when I make or edit the block I want to use. So how to find it’s ID?

Sorry for the confusion, when you use the button above the WYSIWYG/html editor there is no need for looking up the content block ID as you will then be able to select the content block using the title drop-down.

Otherwise, you can lookup the content block ID by hovering over the edit link on the content block posts overview page. The ID is then visible in the post= part of the URL. But, you normally don’t need this as you can use the add content block button from the screenshot I posted in my earlier reply.

Thanks, this morning I found out that the block id is the same as the url in the block itself, displayed in the url, like: “../wp-admin/post.php?post=2916…”. The postnumber is the same as the ID.
I could not use the drop-down method because of some buggy Firefox add-on. Removed this add-on and now everything works as you intended.
I’m happy with it!!
