• Good evening,

just noticed while debugging in IE8 that the images somehow don’t quite fill up the slideshow area at the moment they switch. Instead they’re like 1px short in height at first (leaving white space below), which is corrected (by expanding) after 1 second or so. I know I have the same height set in the slideshow as the images are high and it works in all other browsers. Not the world, but a little annoying.

Does anybody know what’s going on and how to fix it if so?

    Thank you

I tried adding fit: 1 in the Default Template’s slider.php file as suggested in other threads when IE is b***hing with sizes, but to no avail.

I was able to “fix” it by increasing the height of the images by 1px using CSS (conditional stylesheet for IE), but I’m not really satisfied with that “solution” and it makes no sense to me.

If anyone would be able to spot the reason, I’d be most thankful.

PS. I’ve done my best scrutinizing the interpreted CSS values in IE and they (container and images all seem to have the same height and no padding/margins/borders are present). I don’t get it…
