On 2 of my sites when I click on SG Optimizer in the WP dashboard it opens quick enough, but then it just sits there with all the toggles in the off position for a good 10-12 seconds, then the ones I have on move to the on position.

The other site that has this problem is thetravellingchilli.com

I have emptied all caches and cleared all cookies I can find. WP admin in general on all my sites seems fine.

    Hey @sean-h

I checked your sites, but everything seems ok.

Both plugin pages loaded for 4-5 seconds, which is normal.

    Hi @sstoqnov,

Thanks for your reply, and for confirming it has nothing to do with SG.

But if I may go on a bit, although I don’t want to waste your time. I’ve been having some weird internet problems since coming to Spain (for an extended working holiday) We have our own private, dedicated fibre line direct into our caravan (100Mbps down and 10 up, if I plug the LAN from the fibre modem direct into my laptop) and while most things like Netflix work without any buffering whatsoever on WifI, some of, but not all of my SG hosted sites load painfully slowly. If I switch to my mobile phone data they all load perfectly fast. Problem is I can’t keep using mobile data, it isn’t very cheap.

One theory I have is the WiFi router we are using, el’cheapie TP-Link 300M Wireless N with only 2.4GHz (TL-WR840N) It gives me about 80/10. But, if things like Netflix work perfectly fine on wifi, why would only some of my SG sites work so slow, in particular the admin page of SG Optimizer? I’m beginning to think it has something to do with the routing this particular ISP uses, but that isn’t so easy to diagnose, from my side.

I might just spring for a new WiFi router, but I thought to put this out there to maybe see if I’ve missed something and save myself the extra €45 ??
