[Plugin: DB Cache Reloaded] db-config.php

  • Excellent plugin. We have installed this on our blog running wp2.8.4:

    Two problems we would like to share:

    1. While the plugin is operational, the “post-views” counter does not change. Note: our cache filter settings are as follows: “_posts|_postmeta”

    2. We could not find the “wp-content/db-config.php” file as mentioned in the FAQ page. However, there is a file caled “db-config.ini” . Now sure if this is the problem’s source.

    Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

    about post views plugin

    After hours searching what might be the problem, or which filter to use… I decided to try all of the versions of DB cache reloaded plugin. It seems that post views stops to work well after version 1.1. I’m back with the version 1.0.1 of DB Cache Reloaded(that’s the last one working well for me), and now postviews plugin is working well.

    So there’s a change between version 1.0.1 and 1.1 that make the postview plugin not to work properly. I can’t tell what is it, but now at least we have a solution until it’s fixed on a newer version.
