  • The easiest way is to use a tool like phpMyAdmin to import the SQL file into your database. Many hosts have this pre-installed on their servers for you to use right away, or you can download it from the site and install it yourself.

    Does this plugin work out for everybody?

    Not many data or feedback about it.
    And the feedback that is online is a bit older..

    I would like to use it , because I’m looking for a simple backup system.
    Not too much fancy features, thats the main reason i hate plugins for and i only use max. 3 plugins on a WordPress website.

    Works fine for me, although you might want to try it on a test installation of WP to make sure it doesn’t put any significant strains on your server.

    I’ve been using DBC Backup for 2+ years and its probably the best plugin around ??

    because it is simple and saves the backups to the server
