“wp-ulike” has been deactivated, plugins that insert or update the database on page load can cause severe performance issues for your site and are not supported.”

Required plugin on my theme continuous to disable and not work causing my website to have code displaying. It’s compatible with my theme but not supported by WordPress anymore. This needs work.

Is there a work around to this? Every time I activate WordPress automatically disables?

    Hi @namastenora

This is related to the rules and restrictions of the wordpress.com service!
Unfortunately, we can not do more about this and it is better to discuss the issue with your server support. (We have optimized all our queries in recent updates, and if they check again, the problem will probably be fixed. )

I spoke with WordPress.com. This is what they said:
“Ah thanks! It looks like this plugin is incompatible due to being SQL heavy. This isn’t something that we’d be able to override on our end.

What I’d recommend is reaching out to the developer of the WP ULike, and providing them with this information: https://wordpress.com/support/php-environment/

They can also reach out to us here, to see how they can make their plugin compatible: https://wordpress.com/support/developers/”

My issue is that the code is showing up on my website in place of the button…

    [wp_ulike for=”movie” id=”91″ style=”wpulike-heart”]

I can’t even edit it out because the plugin disables so quickly. Do you have a shortcode or something I can add to delete this code on my site or get rid of where the button should be overall?
