Plugin Dead?????

    Hi Brian,

    Hope you are well?

    Has this plugin become dead? If so, would it be possible to get the key for the repository please? Have a few members on another group who are keen to get the plugin as this is literally the only plugin suitable for what we need.

    Right? Would like to know if we’re going to receive any updates in the near future or if I just wasted my money on a Pro Subscription. I love this plugin, but there are some problems with it that I would like to get resolved.

    @jackjpdiscos Unfortunately it would appear that Brian has neglected this plugin since taking ownership and with his disappearance from the MDJM group and parts of his website being down, it would seem he has decided not to continue its development.

    If you wish to take the plugin over take a look here

    If ownership does get transferred, contact me via Facebook and I can help get you the code for the extensions – but only if the plugin team do allow transfer of ownership

    Hi Jack,

    Thanks for your email, although the plugin has had little updates recently it is far from dead. In fact in the forth coming weeks we will be notifying everyone of some major changes with the MDJM plugin.

    Please bare with me and I will be in touch shortly.

    I suppose I’ll just have to hold out and wait…

    Hi @jackjpdiscos we will be releasing an update shortly with security fixes/hardening, general bug fixes and compatibility with WordPress 5.5+

    We will then review features and integrate some new features we have been working on.

    Hi @deckbooks when is “shortly” though?

    We were promised an update in October but things have been really quiet since Brian took over the plugin.

    Hi @jackjpdiscos hopefully within the next few days, we are just waiting for the WordPress Plugins team to do some handover and review the update; which will then be available as 1.5.8.

    Apologies for the lack of updates it has taken some time reviewing the plugin code and bringing it up-to-date with the latest WordPress as well as making changes for WordPress security best practice, but it shouldn’t be too much longer.

    Hi @jackjpdiscos we have just submitted a new version of the plugin for review with the WordPress Plugins team, which fixes some security issues and makes compatible with up to WordPress 5.6.
