    Hi!

First of all, fantastic solution for the whole Delicious situation. Thanks for writing this plugin.

I have had migrated my delicious bookmarks to google bookmarks at the time, since it supported tags and all my bookmarks were imported succesfully without trouble.

However, when I tried your plugin I stumbled upon 2 problems:

1- I get a huge list of errors while importing, starting like this:

    Importing Dive Into HTML5…Done!
Importing 20 Free and Useful Adobe Illustrator Scripts | Vectortuts …Done!
    Importing wundes.com…Done!
Importing ManualsLib – Makes it easy to find manuals online!…Done!
    Importing 展開図ダウンロード – Jun Mitani…
Warning: seems_utf8() [function.seems-utf8]: Cannot add element description number 1 when only 0 such elements exist in /xxx/wp-includes/formatting.php on line 351
    Done!
Importing Ui Parade – User Interface Design Inspiration…
Warning: seems_utf8() [function.seems-utf8]: Cannot add element description number 1 when only 0 such elements exist in /xxx/wp-includes/formatting.php on line 342
Warning: seems_utf8() [function.seems-utf8]: Cannot add element description number 2 when only 0 such elements exist in /xxx/wp-includes/formatting.php on line 342

and so on. I have about 2000 bookmarks, and around 2/3 of them yeld these errors. Apparently, though, the bookmarks were imported successfully…

2- It’s not showing the links. I’m not even sure if it’s being stored on the database. I imported the bookmarks as posts.

3- I also had trouble with the delicious api exporter. Couldn’t find out how to use the fromdt parameter (your link is apparently dead)

Hmm, about the delicious api exporter: never mind, I’ve got it working. With that, I could get rid of the errors while importing.

But I still have the problem with the links, they are not showing up anywhere. Should that be the post link itself? Right now, if I click on an entry (I’m seeing the bookmarks list page) it goes to the ‘article’ page – that should be the bookmarked page, no?

I know the subject and the plugin are old, but I really want to get rid once for all of these online bookmark services, who knows until when they are going to work!

The imported links should be in the post content. Where the post title links to depends on your theme. I’ve written a theme called Twenty Links to emulate Delicious. There are a few other themes out there that do something similar.
