I just started to read the description for this plugin:

The WordPress Related Posts plugin allows you to show a related posts list on your website after a post or via a widget.

As-written it looks like you’re talking about a different plugin. I was expecting some text to follow that like “This new and improved Advanced Related Posts plugin goes beyond that to do these things…”

But it looks like the plugin was just “WordPress Related Posts” and maybe to avoid a copyright issue with using the term WordPress it was renamed to “Advanced Related Posts” … but with no change to the description. So it’s not really “advanced”, it’s the same thing as before, just renamed. ??

Anyway, I just wanted to convey the confusion that a newcomer like myself has with the very first introduction to this plugin. I hope that perspective helps.

EDIT: Having read all of the description now, I think it’s fair to say this looks like a nice plugin and I might give it a shot. Thanks and good luck with it.

    Dear @starbuck,

    Thank you for the topic.

I want to mention, that?Advanced Related Posts is a separately new plugin and a huge?investment has been made intended for its improvement.
That is the reason we have named the plugin like that. Also, we don’t have any rights to name it as WordPress Related Posts.?

By the way, I want to mention, that the plugin is free for users. So, you can download and test its features/functionalities for further usage.

    Have a nice day!
