  • I have the almost similar issue.

You can check a sample post here:
    https://www.vexite.com/2012/google-bar-black-not-customizable/

The floating share bar only appears after I scroll down a few lines. By default it won’t appear.

Yea it is similar and I don’t know why it’s doing that. I don’t know if it’s the plugin or it’s compatibility issue with the theme or what but I know other people are using it and the floater is practically flawless.

I’ve observed the same disappearing/cut-off problem since updating the plugin a few days ago.

The change happens from position: relative (not seen) to position: relative (shows ok)

Suspect the “fix” a week ago for floating on some themes has now broken it on others since it was working fine before the update. Can be seen on individual posts of https://www.gutsygeek.com

    Hi Tim, harruhsun and vexite,

Great to hear from you and thanks so much for the detailed feedback on this problem. If you just update to the latest version of Digg Digg, all should be working normally now. Is there any chance you could give it a go and see if it is all fixed for you?

Keen to get things working well for you as soon as possible!

    Hi Leo,
Yes, it’s fixed. Thanks for the quick attention to the problem!

FYI: For those who have done any custom css, the changes may require updates to your styling. Easy to sort out, just fair warning.

Hi Tim, awesome, that is so great to hear, glad all is fixed now.

If you ever have any questions or suggestions for us to improve Digg Digg in the future, please let me know. Would love to hear them! ??

    Hi Leo,

On my case, it became worse. The floating bar is totally invisible now.

I’ve updated to 5.2 and thats its I can see the float working well only in Google Chrome in all other browsers its either completely at the bottom of the content or totally invisible.

LeoWid – I’ve updated to the 5.2.1 and its still the same problem.

    Hi Leo,

On my site it is working fine now. ??

I’m confused by the absence of the css settings for the floating tab position and the min browser width in the latest update. The bar didn’t maintain the position where I needed it to be.

I had a copy of the old code, and added it to my style.css. Not sure if it’s supposed to work this way.

Doesn’t work for me. I’ve lost it on one site, though on others it’s working fine. I have upgraded to the latest version and it still won’t show.

That’s the floater. I can get the “normal” one to show, but it only shows Linkedin, nothing else.

Are there any other plugins incompatible with this one?

Very strange, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t. when it works it will display some but not all of the buttons I’ve selected, and often in the wrong order.

    Same in IE,Firefox and Chrome.

    Driving me nuts

Well it seems to be working for me so far however there is an icon that doesn’t show up on Google Chrome for the floater.

There you go, today it seems to be working just fine in IE and Firefox, but all over the place in Chrome, though other sites I have (basically exactly the same, same theme, plugins etc) are all working fine in Chrome.

In Chrome it won’t display sometimes, other times it does, it seems random as to when it shows and when it doesn’t.
