Plugin-Directory Versionnumber Problem?

    Hi,

    I deployed a version 1.0.1 to the plugin directory but “Download Version” remains 1.0.0 although the link is correct and points to version 1.0.1
    Also, the version 1.0.1 appears under “Compatibility + plugin”

    The question is, are the user being informed about the new version 1.0.1?

    Have a look at wp-banner to see what I mean.

    In my stats appears a version 1.0 although I never deployed a version 1.0

    Is there a bug?

    from banner.php
    Version: 1.0.0

    so I think it might be getting the correct download, but only showing as it being version 1.0.0

    ok, you are right.
    I thought only the readme.txt is evaluated
