Plugin disappears from list

Please look if there a subdirectory in the BAckwpup directory. the main plugin file “backwpup.php” must bin in the root of the backwpup directory under plugins.

no I have just checked it is in the root directory, I have four different sites where I have installed this plugin, on two of them it disappears from the plugin list in wordpress, but if you look at the ftp in plugins the directory and files are still there

No, but it does seem to occur when I download a new plugin, I downloaded W3 Cache onto the plugins it was after this I found that backup had gone from the list

Same situation here. The settings for the plugin are nowhere to be found.

Settings not found is a other thin as above discribed. Pleas lokk that you User has the a BackWPup role. You can change it as Admin in you user Profile.

@robincook: what happens if you disable W3TC ?

Also got this with one site. Disabling W3TC makes no difference. Single Site running PHP 5.4. Tried switching back to PHP 5.3 & 5.2
(Working fine on other sites including a multisite setup)

Manual calls e.g. /wp-admin/admin.php?page=backwpupjobs and /wp-admin/admin.php?page=backwpup result in error message “You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page”

Backups are however being generated.

I’ve tried replicating this on a mirror site on a testing server but didn’t get the problem.

Everything is fine on settings, the backup works well but after a while it dispersers from plugin list but is there when I look at FTP plugins
