[Plugin: display-posts-shortcode] Display posts under each category?

I have the plugin installed and other shortcode arguments to displayu such things as excerpts and dates etc.

I have (or WILL have) a large number of articles in a number of different categories that I would like to display. What I need to show up is ach category displaying the list of it’s article underneath, ex.:

Cat Articles

* How to Brush your Angora
(date, excerpt etc. here) […]

* Talking to Your Cat
Blah blah blah here […]

Dog Articles

* What to Do When Your Dog Scratches the Door
blah blah blah here […]

* Feeding Fido
blah blah blah, etc here. […]

Uncategorized

* How to Rent a Car
blah blah blah here […]

* Best Dracula Movies
blah blah blah here (maybe this one should be said in a Transylvanian accent ?? […]

Here’s how they look now:

1. Title #1 (12/15/2006) – Blah blah blah here […]
2. Title #2 (1/16/2005) – blah blah blah here […]
3. Title #3 (11/13/1998) – blah blah blah here […]

(In fact, they posts COULD be set up like that, but just displayed under each Category?

Can you please help with this if is accomplishable , or give me a ballpark estimate on how much it would cost to have you write the extended functionality of the plugin?
