    Solved by changing colour to white in style.css:

    * { margin:0; padding:0;}
    html, body { height:100%; }
    body {font-size:100%; line-height:1.125em; min-width:980px; background:url(images/bg.gif)}
    html, input, textarea { font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
    color:#FFFFFF; }
