[Plugin: Disqus Comment System] Comments not all saved in WordPress

  • Hi everyone.

    I just noticed that some of the latest comments are not saved into my wordpress database. I first thought I should wait a bit, but even 24h later, they are still not saved yet.
    I tried to run the built-in “Sync Disqus with WordPress” function from the dashboard comment advanced options, but nothing changed.

    Well, no big deal about it, but it is a little bit annoying since on single pages, comments_number method shows for example 40, but on index page it shows 41.

    Anyone has already faced this yet?
    I am using the 2.46 version of the plugin, with wordpress 3.0.1

    Just updated to 2.48, run both “Export Comments” and “Sync Comments”, but nothing really changed. I will wait a bit more maybe…

    Oh and so far it only happens with my own reply comments.

    i’m also using disqus in my blog , never faced those problem.

    How do I find the details of subscribers using disqus please?

    I got in touch with Disqus support and they said the sync feature isn’t working for anyone right now, they’re updating the plugin to fix it.

    They didn’t say when it would come out.

    Anyone seen any progress with this? It still doesn’t work for me. When I click the “Sync Comments” button it just says “Processing…” and nothing seems to happen.
